Rich Russian Vocals Come to North America
 Russian baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky combined forces in 2007 with the Moscow Academy of Choral Art and the Moscow Chamber Orchestra under American conductor Constantine Orbelian for a 13-stop North American Tour, featuring a program that was, in essence, a retrospective of Russian vocal art. Classical Movements was asked to manage travel logistics for the tour that included performances in Guadalajara and Monterrey, Mexico, Berkeley and Pasadena, CA, Dallas, New York, Miami, Washington, DC, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Chicago and Boston. The tour was organized by acclaimed arts management agency Askonas Holt. Along the tour route, Classical Movements also played a supporting role in assisting Askonas Holt arrange the Russian artists' engagement at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, as well as individual performances for the Moscow Academy of Choral Art in Washington and Toronto.
Hvorostovsky's performance offered an eclectic array of musical selections and styles from his homeland, including centuries-old Russian sacred works from the Christian Orthodox rite, opera arias, romances of pre-Revolutionary Russia, arrangements of Russian folk songs and even some Russian pop fare. Audiences thrilled to the singer's lush, luxurious, resonant baritone and exquisite interpretation. The November 2007 tour was Classical Movements' second opportunity to work with the celebrated Russian vocalist.
