Philadelphia Orchestra's United States Tour From Sea to Shining Sea
The Philadelphia Orchestra's rich legacy as one of America's most-traveled symphonic ensembles continued in May of 2007 with the Orchestra's 2007 United States Tour, opening in the American heartland, traveling the length of the West Coast, and concluding on the East Coast. Music Director Christoph Eschenbach led concerts which allowed audiences to enjoy a rich and varied repertoire.
Classical Movements was once again pleased to manage the multitude of travel logistics, both in preparation for the tour as well as on the road, as the orchestra journeyed through Kansas City, Chicago, Omaha, Davis, CA, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, CA, San Diego, San Francisco, Eugene, OR, Seattle and finally Washington, DC. Midway through the tour, members of the Orchestra honored Classical Movements' Senior Tour Manager Jeen Fedelich backstage at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, commemorating her 25 years of service as the Orchestra's principle travel manager on the road.
Over the years, Classical Movements has worked with The Philadelphia Orchestra on a multitude of concert tour projects, including performance travels throughout the U.S., South America, Europe and Asia. We look forward to future opportunities to assist the Orchestra in continuing their legacy as one of the premiere touring orchestras, and allowing audiences worldwide to benefit from the magnificent performances of this first-rate ensemble.
