2 More visits in 2008 and 2009
In March 2007, Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra held two performances at the exalted Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Orchestra joined with Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute Communities LinkUP!, a program that enables orchestras to expand their current education programs and strengthen relationships with their surrounding schools and community.
An entranced audience enjoyed works including Sibelius' Symphony No. 2, Bartók's Piano Concerto No. 1, Mahler's "Adagio" from Symphony No. 10 and Britten's Les Illuminations.
"I can't think of a conductor who brings more interesting music on his visits to New York City than David Robertson." - NY Times
