"Since 2002, the Rhapsody Children's Music Festival gathers children from choirs around the world for an annual summer tour of.Prague, Salzburg and Vienna. The children's choir, led this summer by guest conductor Joan Gregoryk, has a packed and varied program planned for Prague, where they will perform at the exquisite St. Saviour Church and at the Rudolfinum, where they will be joined by a Czech children's choir and chamber orchestra Virtuosi Pragenses. Their last performance in Prague will be a Mass at St. Vitus Cathedral.
"The children ... have their eyes opened to the world around them. All their lives, through their 50s and even their 90s, they have a lifetime gift of singing and take this experience with them always. They experience such a rewarding trip, and it is ... a real growing up," said Joan Gregoryk [Director, Children's Chorus of Washington]
Participating in the festival is a richly rewarding experience for the children's choir. Their Prague concerts will be equally rewarding for audiences."
"The excellent organization, and the warmth and friendliness of everyone was wonderful. The planning was well paced with a good balance of rehearsals, tours, performances and free time-just wonderful! Well done to all." Ella Hanify - Director, Seraphim Choir, New Zealand
