National Symphony Orchestra's Tour of Outreach Classical Movements Arranges Travel for NSO to Perform for Enthusiastic Crowds through Kentucky
National Symphony Orchestra performs in Somerset, Kentucky
Under their American Residencies program, the National Symphony Orchestra accepts the invitation of a state or region to visit and share their expertise, knowledge and passion for music. In 2011, the NSO performed through
Kentucky, in town concerts very appreciative and capacity audiences while small groups of musicians held workshops. In total, over 80 well-attended and appreciated events were organized and hosted throughout the state by the Kentucky Arts Council.

There is practically no other orchestra that is as dedicated to outreach around the
US as this most American of orchestras, and the tour once more highlighted the impact that these superb musicians make to towns less frequented by world-class musicians.
Classical Movements is proud to have been part of the National Symphony Orchestra's American Residencies program by managing all travel-related logistics since 1997.
