The Brilliant El Camino Youth Orchestra Tours France and Spain 2008 Gilmore Award Winner Tours as Soloist El Camino Youth Symphony performance at the Nice Conservatory El Camino Youth Symphony commenced their tour in Spain where they performed collaborative concerts with two of Spain's top conservatories. The first concert was performed in the resplendent Girona Municipal Theater, while the second was in the beautiful hilltop city of Pamplona (famed for the Running of the Bulls!) at the professional level Auditorio Baluarte. The voyage continued to Bandol, Jonzac and Nice, as well as a visit to Monte Carlo just before the wedding of Princess Charlene of Monaco to Prince Albert. That evening included yet another great concert at the Nice Conservatory. The finale concert was packed with Parisians at La Madeleine. The highlight for the Moscow native, Maestra Camilla Kolchinsky, was the rousing applause of the Russian community at the concert. << Previous article Next article >>
