MINIMUM GROUP SIZE: 30 paying passengers

PRICE PER PERSON: As listed below for air & land sharing double/triple rooms based on the itinerary and depending on hotel arrangements and adults sharing a double. (A Land Only Package is also available for all choirs. Please see below for more information.)

**Note: There are currently great fluctuations in international exchange rates. Classical Movements will, however, guarantee the prices listed below for all contracts signed before June 1, 2008. After June 1, 2008, prices will be re-assessed and adjusted to reflect up to date rates of exchange.

THIS PRICE INCLUDES:
  1. Round-trip international airfare to and from Rhapsody! Festival. No space is being held at this time.
  2. A modern air conditioned bus throughout for the whole tour for each group of 30 to 50 persons.
  3. Ten nights tourist class hotel accommodation with private bath, including all taxes and service charges.
  4. One free place based on half a double room for the tour escorts/instructors for every 25 paid (26th and 52nd are free). Maximum of 2 free.
  5. All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) starting with the Welcome Dinner on the arrival day in Vienna and ending with breakfast on the departure day in Prague.
  6. Welcome Dinner Party and Farewell Dinner Party.
  7. Soft drinks for all meals.
  8. One tour director throughout for each group.
  9. One guided tour in each city.
  10. Entrance fees for selected sites.
  11. Local English speaking tour guides.
  12. One rehearsal for individual performances.
  13. At least three rehearsals of festival literature with Guest Conductor (one with orchestra).
  14. Two concerts with multiple choirs - each choir sings individually, conducted by its own Music Director.
  15. At least two joint performances with orchestra and all choirs together, leads by our distinguished guest conductors.
  16. Concert arrangements to include:
    • Venues Hire.
    • Publicity including Flyers and Posters for each concert.
    • Concert Programs.
    • Chamber Orchestra for at least two rehearsals (one with Guest Conductor and one with all choirs and Guest Conductor) and two concerts in Prague.
    • Bottled water backstage.
    • Royalties for concerts.
    • Guest conductor fees and travel costs.
  17. Participation in Mass in Vienna and Prague.
  18. Festival T-shirt for each tour participant.
  19. Certificate to Rhapsody festival.
  20. One tour book for each tour participant with detailed instructions on your trip, and travel tips and information on visited countries.
  21. Classical Movements fees.
THIS PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
  1. US airline departure taxes and fuel surcharges of about $350 (subject to change): Does not include PFCs, security charges, custom charges, immigration fees, taxes or any other fees, which may apply and will be determined at time of ticketing.
  2. Tips to guides and drivers: a fair estimate may be approximately $30 per person for the whole tour.
  3. Costs of obtaining a US Passport, visas or customs/immigration fees (currently no visas are needed for US citizens for these countries).
  4. Items of a personal nature not mentioned above, such as excess baggage, laundry, telephone calls and travel insurance.
  5. Meals not mentioned in final itinerary.
  6. Special Meals: We will try to accommodate requests whenever possible, but they may not be available and may cost significantly more.
  7. Expenses within the USA, including getting to and from the international airport.
  8. Porterage at US airports not included.
  9. Costs to hire instruments and musicians for accompanist (except for orchestra which is included).
  10. Single room supplement.


INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSAL FOR SHADOW GROUP IS:
  1. A separate bus from the chorus group for a shadow group of 20 or more people.
  2. Entrance fees to all concerts/performances of Children's Chorus.
  3. Two additional half-day sightseeing tours while children are rehearsing in Vienna and Prague.
  4. Shadow group supplement: $150 for shadow groups larger than 30, $175 for shadow groups of 20-29 people.
  5. PLEASE NOTE: A separate shadow group is not possible for less than 20 people.
SINGLE SUPPLEMENT: $400

LAND ONLY PACKAGE: $2,275

  1. Includes all Rhapsody! 2009 Festival activities.

  2. Choirs purchasing Land Only Package are responsible for their own flights to and from festival location.
