PRICE PER PERSON: As listed below for air & land sharing double/triple rooms based on the itinerary and depending on hotel arrangements and adults sharing a double. (A Land Only Package is also available for all choirs. Please see below for more information.)

**Note: There are currently high inflation and great fluctuations in international exchange rates. Classical Movements will, however, guarantee the prices listed below for all contracts signed before October, 2008. After October 1, 2008, prices will be re-assessed and adjusted to reflect up to date rates of exchange.

THIS PRICE INCLUDES:
  1. Round trip airfare from North America to South America
  2. Transportation to all included sites and venues within South America
  3. Airfare for flights within South America
  4. Eleven (11) breakfast meals
  5. One (1) Welcome Dinner
  6. One (1) Farewell Dinner
  7. Nine (9) other meals (lunches or dinners, per the final itinerary)
  8. Ten (10) nights of twin, double, triple, or quadruple accommodations, including all taxes and service charges, at 3-star hotels, based on the final itinerary
  9. One (1) local English speaking Tour Manager and local English speaking guides as needed for each chorus
  10. Classical Movements Representatives for the duration of the festival
  11. Deluxe motor coaches and professional drivers as per the final itinerary

  13. Extensive sightseeing as per the final itinerary
  14. Entrance fees to Corcovado, Sugar Loaf, and fees for city tours as per the final itinerary
  15. Cultural events such as a Samba demonstration, Tango show, and visit to an Argentinean Estancia (ranch) as per the final itinerary
  16. One (1) cultural exchange/outreach activity with a local children’s chorus
  17. One (1) workshop with a Latin American composer/conductor
  18. At least one (1) concert with multiple choirs – each choir sings individually conducted by its own Music Director
  19. At least two (2) concerts with the combined Festival Choirs (one with orchestra), led by a distinguished Guest Conductor
  20. At least one (1) rehearsal for individual performances
  21. At least three (3) rehearsals of festival literature with Guest Conductor (one with orchestra)
  22. Concert arrangements for at least four (4) concerts, including:
    • Venue hire and promotion, including flyers and posters
    • Concert programs
    • Concert agent fees
    • Music royalties
    • Guest Conductor fees and travel expenses
    • Orchestra for orchestral rehearsal and concert
    • Bottle of water backstage during concerts for singers and staff
  23. One (1) festival t-shirt for every chorister and staff member
  24. One (1) pocket tour book for each tour participant with detailed instructions on your trip and travel tips and information on visited countries
  25. One (1) free space per thirty-five (35) paying passengers (36th and 72nd free) in twin or double accommodations, including all taxes and service charges, at 3-star hotels, based on the final itinerary

THIS PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
  1. Airline tax: Does not include Passenger Facility Charges, fuel surcharges, security charges, US custom charges, US immigration fees, taxes or any other fees, which may apply and will be determined at time of ticketing. These fees total approximately $300.00. Airline taxes are subject to change until tickets are printed. The Chorus is responsible for entirety of these fees.
  2. Argentina departure tax (approximately $19.00 per person). The airport tax is collected upon departure, payable in dollars or Argentine pesos.
  3. Cost of obtaining a passport. A valid passport is required for U.S. citizens to enter Argentina and Brazil.
  4. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for visits to Argentina of up to 90 days for tourism and business. Different rules apply to U.S. citizens who also have Argentine nationality, depending on their dates of U.S. naturalization.
  5. Cost of obtaining a notarized document for Argentina or Brazil.
  6. Cost of obtaining a visa for US citizens (approximately $110.00 per person) and other citizens.
  7. Each choir needs to order and pay for their own music.
  8. Items of a personal nature such as: excess baggage, laundry, and telephone calls
  9. Meals not included in the final itinerary
  10. Water at rehearsals
  11. Porterage
  12. Special Meals. Classical Movements will try to accommodate requests for special dietary needs or preferences whenever possible, but they may not be available, and may cost significantly more, resulting in a surcharge. There are provisions for vegetarians, but please remember that many other countries are meat eating countries and vegetarian meals will not always be as ample as they would be in the US.
  13. Trip cancellation and interruption insurance
  14. Expenses within North America getting to and from the airport
  15. Costs to hire instruments and musicians for accompanist (except for orchestra which is included).
