Luigi Migliore

Born of Sicilian parents in Trieste, Luigi Migliore graduated college with a degree in Political Science, which gives him a better understanding of the geography, culture and politics of the many countries he works in. With his extensive experience as a professional tour guide in Italy, he is extremely knowledgeable about that nation’s traditions. Luigi has worked with Classical Movements since the turn of the 21st century, touring with world-famous conductors (Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Simon Carrington), as well as some of the most respected conservatories and universities (Juilliard, Harvard, Yale, Smith). He has led tours for Classical Movements to various other countries, too, including Austria, Slovenia, Israel, Jordan and Greece. Having traveled, himself, to the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, Russia, Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, India, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan and Australia, Luigi earned a first-level certification from the Italian Association of Sommeliers. Well acquainted with gourmet foods and drink, he delights in introducing the lesser-known specialties of Italy and Sicily to our groups.
